Description :
Green and brown handwoven Sambalpuri cotton saree from the weavers of Sambalpur, Odisha. The pattern for this saree evolves through a process of dyeing the warp and weft threads prior to inter-weaving. This technique of ikat weaving on a traditional handloom is a beautiful art of poetry on the loom. This saree is woven with double ikat sapta motifs with flower design on the body. Dobby rudraksha motifs are woven on border of the saree. The beautiful floral motifs on pallu add to the beauty of this handloom saree.
