Potli from Noida, Uttar Pradesh is a social organisation co-founded by Pooja Ratnakar in 2008 with an aim to reconnect children with Indian traditional art & culture through handmade Do it Yourself educational Art and Craft kits. The objective is to make children aware of Indian Culture through fun learning, create awareness and expand markets for artisan communities that depend on art for their livelihood while helping the old art forms they practice to sustain. There are 44 artisans working with Potli today engaged in wooden block carvings in Farukhabad, and folk artists pan India. Potli is a member of the Fair Trade Forum, India. Their products are mainly Art and Craft activity kits for children.
