Tisser Artisans
Tisser Rural Handicrafts is a social venture established to uplift the lives of rural artisans across India. It’s mission is to fight poverty through livelihood generation in rural artisan clusters. It has presence in 18 states with a strongly connected 10,000+ artisans/ SHG’s who are engaged in production and allied activities through cluster development and harnessing cluster entrepreneurs. Tisser provides end to end support to the artisans. It starts from artisan mobilisation, to design and product interventions, along with a provision of marketing online and offline on B2B business model. It has created a brand name and is known for its honesty, fair trade and product innovation. Tisser is creating a base for skilled, sustainable rural employment and preserving India’s traditional handicrafts in the process.
