The GoCoop Livelihoods Foundation was established to address structural gaps in the artisan and cooperative ecosystem by building capabilities, strengthening enterprises, and enabling long-term market participation.
While global demand for handcrafted products continues to rise, producer communities remain disconnected from fair and resilient markets. The Foundation bridges this gap through targeted capacity building and enterprise enablement.
Our approach is grounded in practical, on-the-ground realities of artisan and cooperative enterprises. Rather than short-term interventions, we focus on building systems, skills, and confidence that last.
We develop digital literacy and enable enterprises to catalogue, price, manage, and sell their products through digital platforms.
We train producers in design thinking and product development to align traditional skills with contemporary market demand.
We promote responsible production practices and support enterprises in adopting environmentally sustainable standards.
We build awareness of consumer expectations, storytelling, pricing, quality, and presentation—ensuring products are market-ready.
The Foundation works in close collaboration with a diverse network of ecosystem partners to design and deliver programs at scale.
