EkiBeki is a hybrid social enterprise that works to preserve the rich craft heritage of India and promote traditional arts and crafts in contemporary forms. The products are hand crafted by the talented artisans living in small remote villages of India and are made from eco-friendly materials, perfect for helping create a sustainable future. In Marathi, ‘Eki’ stands for odd, unique, or unity and, ‘Beki’ means even, common, or diversity. True to the name, the balance is achieved by bringing together things that have traditionally been perceived to be at odds with each other.
