Black and yellow handwoven double ikat telia rumal cotton dupatta from the weavers of Deekshitha Handlooms, Yadadri(dist), Telangana. The telia rumal style of ikat weaving is a sophisticated process involving meticulous designs, oil yarn absorption technique of dying and signature style geometric patterns, all woven on a traditional handloom. Gorgeous abstract diamond patterns adorn this dupatta, bordered with yellow stripes at the edges and neatly tasselled ends.
The Pochampally Ikat weaving technique is one of most complex tie-dye technique. The weavers at Deekshitha have mastered this art over centuries.
