Bright navy blue handwoven banarasi saree woven using exquisite muga silk yarn by the traditional weavers of Uttar Pradesh. The blue color saree body is designed with golden zari single leaf buttas. Elaborate floral plant patterns are woven in shimmering golden and silver yarn, designed at the lower saree borders and the pallu. Golden zari twill weave stripes are woven for the saree borders. This banarasi saree has a soft surface texture and a rich bulky drape fall.
Muga silk is a wide variety cultivated in Assam. This special silk yarn has a unique glossy texture whose lustre increases with every wash.
