Description :
This gorgeous handwoven assam eri saree is designed and woven by the traditional weavers of Sualkuchi, Assam. The eri silk is a wild variety of natural silk yarn authentic to the north eastern Indian region. Rare in origin and rich in characteristics, the eri silk yarn has been beautifully interwoven on a handloom to make this gorgeous saree. The naturally dyed green base of the fabric is woven with subtle floral buttas in colorful yarn. Off white stripes adorn this plain saree at the border and the pallu. Mayuri sarees is an organization based in Guwahati who primarily work with the women weavers of Sualkuchi, a famous weaving cluster in Assam. Special Characteristic :- Eri Silk is ISO thermal and hence can be used both in summer and winter.
