Description :

Bomkai silk saree also known as Sonepuri silk saree is a traditional handwoven saree produced at Sonepur district of Odisha. The designs are inspired from the caves of 'khandagiri'. Light cream and maroon colour yarns used to weave this saree. Maroon butta on the body with traditional ikat temple, rudraksha motifs woven on the border by dobby shedding device. Multiple colour yarns used to weave the bomkai patterns on the pallu. Saree comes with a maroon colour blouse piece, attached in running.
