This is a green, maroon and mustard traditional handwoven bomkai cotton saree is a uniquely woven saree which hails from the western part of Odisha, specially from Sonepur. The bomkai pattern is created by the jala technique of the fabric. This saree comes in green and maroon colour combination. Ikat and traditional bomkai extra yarn motifs are woven on the body with traditional rudraksha motifs woven on the border by dobby shedding device. Multi colour yarns have been used to weave ikat and bomkai motifs on the pallu. This saree comes attached with a matching blouse piece.
