Description :

A traditional handwoven cotton saree woven by the weavers of the village Nuapatana in Odisha. The village of Nuapatana is famous for its handwoven traditional mercerised cotton sarees and the tie-dye technique to create motifs on the saree is its speciality. White and deep green colour yarns used to weave this saree with checks all over the saree body and pallu. Floral buttis adorn the checks saree body. Abstract ikat motifs in colorful patterns are designed as stripes on the saree borders and the pallu.
