This is an orange and black traditional handwoven bomkai cotton saree is a uniquely woven saree which hails from the western part of Odisha, specially from Sonepur. The bomkai pattern is created by the jala technique of the fabric. This saree comes in coquelicot orange and black colour combination. Ikat and traditional bomkai extra yarn motifs are woven on the body with traditional rudraksha motifs woven at the borders by dobby shedding device. Multiple colour yarns have been used to weave bomkai motifs on the pallu. This saree comes attached with a matching blouse piece.
