Handwoven traditional Sambalpuri ikat silk saree produced in the western region of Odisha specially at Sambalpur. Sambalpuri sarees are known for their intricate thread works. Tie and dye technique used to design the motifs on the saree. This saree comes in black and maroon colour combination. Ikat flower and peacock motifs woven on the body with traditional rudraksha motifs woven on the border by dobby shedding device. Ikat flower motifs with multiple horizontal stripes have been woven on the pallu. Saree comes attached with a maroon colour blouse piece.
