A unique Khandua silk saree is the traditional saree woven by the weavers of Nuapatna, Odisha on a handloom. This handwoven saree woven by using byzantine and maroon colour yarns. Tie and dye technique used to design the motifs on the saree. White butta on the body with traditional ikat temple, pasapalli and rudraksha motifs woven on the border by dobby shedding device. Beautiful ikat motifs woven on the pallu carefully with lots of stripes.
