This unique handwoven traditional saree produced by the weavers of Bargarh, Odisha. This saree locally known as Bichitrapuri cotton saree. Red and black colour yarn used to weave this saree. The speciality of this saree is the ikat pasapalli motifs on the body with fish, bird, rudraksha motifs have been woven on the border by dobby shedding device. Traditional pallu on which different species and flowers have been woven by ikat technique of weaving.
