Handwoven traditional Khandua silk saree of Nuapatna, Odisha, in black and maroon colour combination. Tie and dye technique is used to design the motifs on this saree. Small buties are woven on the plain saree body with temple motifs near both borders and traditional rudraksha motifs are woven using a dobby shedding device for the borders. Pallu has ikat flower motifs woven as multiple horizontal stripes.
