Handwoven traditional Khandua silk saree of Nuapatna, Odisha, in deep green and black colour combination. Tie and dye technique is used to design the motifs on this saree. Small elephant and tribal motifs are woven on saree body and traditional rudraksha motifs are woven using a dobby shedding device on the borders. Traditional classical dancer motifs are designed near the lower saree border. Pallu has ikat geometrical motifs woven as multiple stripes.
