Indigo handloom silk-cotton maheshwari saree, dabu hand block printed by the artisans of Rajasthan at Ode to Earth. The maheshwari sico base of this handloom saree is traditionally woven by the weavers of the Maheshwari cluster at Madhya Pradesh. Beautiful palm leaf prints in white are designed on the saree body. A stripe of ghiccha(spun silk) jacquard temple border is woven on the saree edges. The saree pallu is printed by the resist dye technique to form white and blue zig-zag patterns. Ode to earth works with producer groups at remote rural areas across north India to provide them the essential markets for their exquisite handmade products.
