Kanchipuram Purple Handloom Silk Sarees

Kancheepuram murugan silk saree woven in purple on a handloom by the weavers of Tamil Nadu at Loomworld. Heavy Jacquard designs woven in zari (gold thread) are woven by the technique of adai on the saree body, border and pallu. Diagonal stripe in thin purple and pink yarn designed with small motifs are woven all over the saree body. Beautiful peacock motifs in golden zari, red and green yarn adorn the yellow saree borders. The saree pallu is woven with traditional designs. The pallu end of this saree is finished with neatly tied tassels.
