The village of Nuapatana is famous for its handwoven traditional mercerised cotton sarees and the tie-dye technique to create motifs on the saree is its speciality. Violet and black colour yarns used to weave this saree. It has geometrical motifs woven on the body and in pallu and line motifs designed on the border of the saree.
