Mustard brown and maroon handwoven Sambalpuri cotton saree from the weavers of Sambalpur, Odisha. The pattern for this saree evolves through a process of dyeing the warp and weft threads prior to inter-weaving. This technique of ikat weaving on a traditional handloom is a beautiful art of "poetry on the loom". This saree is woven with all over flower design on the body. Dobby rudraksha motifs are woven on the saree border. The flower design on pallu add to the beauty of this handloom saree.
