Traditional mustard orange ilkal saree handwoven with cotton and art silk from the skilled weavers at the Chamundeshwari Co-op Society, Kamatagi-Bagalkot, Karnataka. The elegance of this saree lies in its border, woven with chikki-paras patterns. The tope teni pallu of the saree has a signature style pattern of 3 solid red weft bands alternating with 2 bands of white; the temple design woven on the white band. Saree comes with attached running blouse material. The G.I tag of ilkal sarees is earned by the unique ancient weaving technique of cotton warp for the body and art silk warp of the border and pallu which are externally knotted and joined. The extra long length of this saree was specially woven to be draped in the traditional kachche saree style. Flaunt this genuine ilkal saree with a contrast printed blouse.
