Saree is handwoven in white, blue and yellow dyed cotton and lustrous art silk yarn highlighting the flower motifs and buttis on the body and abstract design on the pallu. Abstract designs adorn the saree borders. The traditional Jamdani or Dhakai Jamdani's weaving technique has been originated from Bangladesh and is now carried forward in West Bengal.
