Gorgeous white with black and red assam handwoven chador from the weavers at Assam. A chador is a traditional Assamese dupatta popular as a winter wear. The dupatta is intricately woven with a combination of authentic eri silk in the warp and woolen yarn in the weft. Traditional abstract floral motifs in red and black woolen yarn are highlighted on the dupatta as buttis and as stripes at the dupatta ends. Small knotted tassels in red and black threads dangle at the dupatta ends.
This particular chador is specially woven by skilled women weavers of Assam.
