Batik print Maheshwari silk cotton saree from the artisans of Bhairogarh, Madhya Pradesh at Avantika dyeing and hand printing works. Avantika is a small producer group of 10 artisans working together as an organisation. This saree has a silk-cotton fabric base woven with a thin golden zari border on the edges, popularly known as the narmada leher border. Exquisite wax hand batik designs printed using brown and orange colors depict abstract floral-paisley creeper patterns on the saree body and pallu. Stripes of coconut trees and floral motifs are designed on the pallu.
