Product Description :
Kotpad handloom is a vegetable-dyed fabric woven by the tribal weavers of the Mirgan community of Kotpad village in Koraput district,Odisha, India. The natural dye is manufactured out of the Aul tree grown in this area. Since, it is prepared out of natural resources which are non-toxic and hence non-harmful to the skin. Handwoven Kotpad cotton saree is woven by using offwhite black and maroon colour naturally dyed yarns. Plain butties are woven on the saree body by using extra threads and temple design are woven on the saree border by using multiple shuttle interlocking technique. The saree pallu is woven by butties with stripes with extra threads. This saree comes with attached running blouse piece.
