Ghanshyam Sarode
Ghanshyam Sarode is a textile designer from Hyderabad, Telangana whose aim is to work towards creating a textile ecosystem in which handloom weaving and handloom weavers become productive contributors to the overall economy of the society and yet preserve the traditional handloom weaving style. He helps weaver families to improve their skill sets which in turn help them with better socio economic conditions.His hard work and vision have established him as a designer of repute in the handloom sector. He has developed a vast and well-knit network of infrastructure and has looms in AP, Karnataka, UP, Odisha and Maharashtra. He set up his own store uppada sarees in the year 1998 and his products are sold by many handloom brands in the country.
