Elegant handwoven Ikat rajkot style pochampally silk saree by the weavers of Pochampally Weavers Co-operative Society from Pochampally in Nalgonda district, Telangana state. This gorgeous saree is woven in a mehendi green and dark pink combination. The mehendi green saree body is highlighted with tribal dancer motifs. Intricately woven elephant and birds motifs are designed as stripes near the lower saree border. Golden zari interwoven with dark pink silk yarn stripes are designed for the saree borders and the pallu. This saree holds the prestigious tag of Handloom Mark of India which certifies the authenticity and genuinely of this handwoven product. The Pochampally Ikat weaving technique is one of most complex tie-dye technique. The weavers at Pochampally have mastered this art over centuries.
