Integrated Development Trust (IDT) is an N.G.O that is giving support, training and work in the field of craft for disadvantaged women from rural areas of Ananthapur District of Andhra Pradesh. The 1st training workshop in 2001 was conducted to support local women against discrimination, to allow their emancipation and empowerment, provide residences and daily expenses. Conducive conditions are created to produce from home. In addition they are also provided with basic education, medical supervision, tools for integration and full time job with training programmes. Today, more than 250 women are given an opportunity to specialize in making jute products, textile crafts and embroidery, paper mache, fashion jewellery , eco- crafts, recycled paper products through six different workshops. The effort is to achieve business fairness, ensure no exploitation and community development to bring about a social change. Some of their products are being exported to Spain and effort is also being made to expand the domestic market.
