This gorgeous handwoven red and blue assam cotton saree is designed and woven by the traditional weavers of Sualkuchi, Assam. The plain saree body and border is uniquely woven with thread motif stripes at the pallu, highlighted in bright blue yarn. The pallu end of the saree is neatly finished with tassels.
Mayuri sarees is and organization based in Guwahati who primarily work with the women weavers of Sualkuchi, a famous weaving cluster in Assam.
