South Zone Conference held by NCDC on 9th Jan' 13 at RICM, Bangalore

The National Co-operative Development Corporation held a South Zone Conference, on the 9th of January, 2013, to commemorate the International Year of Co-operatives and the Golden Jubilee Year of NCDC .
The Honorable Chief Guest, Sri. H.K. Patil, Ex-Minister and Chairman of the National Co-operative Urban Banks, inaugurated the Conference. This event brought together a large gathering of dignitaries, and provided a platform for an engaging discussion with the NCDC Managing Director, Regional Directors and the Principal Secretary of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, in addition to the Commissioner of Co-operatives from various states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
Mr. Siva Devireddy, Managing Director, GoCoop conducted a session on the current scenario with emerging co- operatives, and made a presentation, titled “Emerging Cooperatives - Global Scenario”, which was very well received by the audience. Further, the GoCoop team had set up a stall during the event and was successful in securing around 42 registrations.
