The town of Nuapatna is famous for its handwoven traditional mercerised cotton sarees and the tie-dye technique to create motifs on the saree is it’s speciality. It comes in mehendi green and black combination. Ikat motifs woven on the body. The border has traditional rudraksha motifs woven by dobby shedding device. Ikat dotted motifs designed on the pallu in horizontal stripes.
