This mercerised traditional handwoven cotton saree was woven by the weavers of the town of Nuapatna in Odisha. Ikat technique of hand weaving was used to weave this saree. White and black colour yarns used to weave this handloom saree. Ikat conch(shell) and small square motifs have been woven on the body and pallu. Traditional small flower motifs are woven on the border.
