Sambalpuri ikat silk saree is a traditional handwoven silk saree where the warp and weft threads were first 'tie-dyed' before weaving. It is produced at Sambalpur, Odisha. This is a byzantine and maroon colour handloom ikat silk saree where ikat plant and flower motifs have been woven carefully on the body with traditional rudraksha motifs on the border by dobby shedding device. Beautiful circular ikat motifs have been woven on the pallu. Saree comes attached with a maroon colour matching blouse piece.
