This impressive handwoven Khandua silk saree is a traditional saree of Nuapatna, Odisha. Tie and dye method used to create a wide variety of designs all over the saree. Specially parrot green and maroon colour yarns used to weave this saree. Ikat motifs woven on the body with conventional border which has traditional rudraksha motifs on it by dobby shedding device. Ikat flower motifs woven on the pallu which are separated by horizontal stripes.
