A unique Khandua silk saree is the traditional saree woven by the weavers of Nuapatna, Odisha on a handloom. This handwoven saree woven by using dodger blue and maroon colour yarns. Tie and dye technique used to design the motifs on the saree. It has plain body with traditional ikat temple, rudraksha motifs woven on the border by dobby shedding device. Ikat flower motifs woven on the pallu carefully with lots of stripes.
