This authentic saree is a handwoven traditional Bomkai silk saree produced by the weavers of Sonepur, Odisha. Sonepur is famous for its unique bomkai patterns. Fawn and marooncolour yarns used to weave this saree. Maroon buttaon the body with traditional ikat temple, rudraksha motifs have been woven on the border by dobby shedding device. Lots of skill needed to weave the bomkai patterns on the pallu. Saree comes attached with a maroon colour blouse piece.
