Lavender and black shibori printed silk-cotton chanderi saree, by the weavers at Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, from the producers of Mosin Khan. The naturally occurring patterns through the binding, stitching, folding, twisting, or compressing the cloth, each unique in the absorption and spread of dye on the fabric is the art of shibori printing. This chanderi saree woven in cotton and silk yarns are highlighted in lavender color dye on the saree body and patterns in black and white on the saree pallu. Thin golden zari tissue stripe is woven for the saree border.
