Business Overview
Tashiling Tibetan Refugee Co-operative Farming Society Lts, Sonada was established in the year 1965. It was registered under West Bengal Co-operative Societies Act 1940, with the help of foreign donars and the department of home , CTA, Dharmasala.The settlement is granted with 29 acres of land out of which 1.5 acres are being for agriculture and dairy farming. The Co-operative society looks after the socio-economic conditions as well as education of the settlers. The society takes on various activities like farming, dairy farming, running a hostel, ration shop and flour mill for the welfare of the community
Objectives
1. Change and modification in Co-operative cultivation of land and take up other ancillary activities like fruit and vegetable cultivation, animal husbandry, poultry & apiary pise ciculture, cottage industries etc, for increasing production as per plan 2. Establishing and running small scale industries for adequate and productive utilization of labour. 3. All-round development of members of the rural life 4. Dairy farming 5. Hiring or acquiring of land in other ways for agriculture and other ancillary activities.
